Pillar 3 of 4

Products

Sell anything alongside your books — merchandise, prints, gift sets, digital downloads, apparel, professional services, and more. A complete eCommerce engine with supply chain management, tax handling, and accounting integrations. Over 37 years of eCommerce experience is baked into the design.

Products, Variants & Collections

Rich product management with variants for size, colour, format, or any dimension you define. Organise your catalog with smart collections and curated bundles, then layer on targeted discounts and volume pricing to increase average order value.

Variants

Define variant axes (size, colour, format) and generate a variant matrix. Each variant gets its own SKU, price, and inventory row.

Collections

Smart rule-based collections (match any/all attributes), and manually curated collections for category pages and landing pages.

Bundles

Create product bundles with a fixed or percentage bundle price. Inventory is deducted per component when a bundle sells.

Retail, Wholesale, & Permissions

Manage different customer types with specific pricing, permissions, and access levels. Granularly hide products or prices without access.

Professional Services

Offer professional services alongside your products. Manage different service types, pricing, and access levels.

Link Products with Blogs and Events

Show related products to encourage cross-selling and upselling, and link blogs to products.

Inventory Management

Every stock movement is recorded as an immutable ledger entry — enforced at the database level, not just in application logic. Levels can always be rebuilt by replaying history, and every change has a permanent audit trail.

Ledger-Based Tracking

Every change — sale, return, manual adjustment, PO receipt, or bin transfer — appends a read-only transaction. Available and on-hand levels update automatically.

Inventory Bins

Stock moves between purpose-specific bins: Available, Reserved, Receiving (QA), ReturnPending, Damaged, and Lost — full control over what customers can buy.

Reservation at Checkout

Inventory is reserved the moment a customer begins checkout. A last-second check at payment prevents overselling.

Point-to-Point Analysis

Query any date range to see exactly how inventory moved — inflows, outflows, and transfers per variant. Useful for reconciliation and demand planning.

  • Inventory tracked for every tangible product variant and physical book format — always
  • Globally or per-product: limit sales to stock on hand, or allow backorders with a clear message to customers
  • Switch a product from unlimited to stock-gated at any time — the ledger balance immediately becomes the authoritative available quantity
  • Stock flows in via PO receiving vouchers or adjustments, and flows out via sales, returns, and adjustments
  • Full audit log: every entry is immutable and carries the user, timestamp, and reason
  • Low-stock alerts configurable per product — notified before you run out

Supply Chain

Manage the purchasing side of your commerce operation from the same admin. Create suppliers, raise purchase orders, receive stock, and track bills, payments, and supplier credits — all linked directly to your inventory.

Suppliers

Supplier profiles with contact details, terms, default currency, and a full transaction history per supplier.

Purchase Orders

Raise POs with line items, expected delivery, cancel-on date, and cost pricing. PO status tracks from Draft through Ordered to Closed.

Quick Add Products

Quickly add new products while writing a purchase order so they are in your system.

Receiving and Returns

Create receipt and return vouchers against a PO. Inventory is updated automatically on closing a voucher.

Bills, Payments & Credits

Match supplier invoices to POs, record payments, and track supplier credits — payables stay in sync with stock movements.

Xero Accounting Integration

Sync suppliers, paid orders and refunds as invoices and credit notes into Xero.
